This film is part of a set of 4 films generally called “Cross reflections on sustainable development.” It offers a thorough examination of the “nature of the question” and combines the ideas of architects, politics, builders, contractors, engineers, landscapers, researchers, on the state of practices and brakes, France early XXIst century. These words are punctuated by illustrations of positive steps.

This section questions the line between “good” and “bad” materials, processes non-polluting, non-toxic materials, deconstruction and the separability of the life cycle analysis and eco-balance of French regulatory limits and problems attached to very few materials used (concrete, wood, aluminum, PVC).
