THE FOX is a 120 minutes web series that comes with interviews.
2014 marks one hundred years since the start of the First World War, the painful memory of which is still alive among almost every family today. The film strides across a family territory remodeled by the war throughout a first person narrative story taking the shape of a psychogenealogic enquiry.
This project exploits the potential of the web in an original and very different way than the web documentaries, by reviving the format of the 19th century novels which were shared in instalments and published as serials in the print media.
For three months during the autumn of 2015, it suggests a confrontation between the small History, the one of the families, and the big History, the one of the historians and scientists.
