The film joins the painter Gérard Traquandi in his discovery of contemporary buildings receiving a work of art, whether through sponsorship or through the 1% artistic. He wonders about the space that the architect leaves to the artist and to the work of art : is it about serving architecture or questioning it? The film also gathers the testimonies of the architects Matthieu Poitevin, Corinne Vezzoni, José Moralès and of the contracting owner’s counselors Michel Tampon-Lajariette.
